Having reached my 80th year, I am now able to pursue my long-held interest in painting.

I received a number of awards in secondary school, but it wasn't until after a journey through Europe that I truly engaged with the world of art.

The subsequent years saw my works exhibited at local art shows and at notable venues such as the Town Hall Gallery Hawthorn in 2011, and The Chamber Gallery Woodend in 2012.

In recent years, my work has been displayed and sold at the Mansfield Rotary/Hospital and Tatura Rotary Art shows, with notable success at Mansfield where I was awarded the winning prize in 2010.

I have also submitted paintings to the Wynne National Landscape Prize on three occasions.

My passion lies primarily in landscape painting, which reflects my experience as a jackaroo and extensive travels across Australia. I also find satisfaction in painting abstract works.

My aim now is to experiment further with various styles and materials, in the pursuit of my own unique expression of subjects.

I hope you might appreciate and connect with some of these works.
